Established in 1989, the Minority Judicial Internship Program provides a unique opportunity for first and second year law students of color to be introduced to the judicial system during a paid summer internship.  Under the program, each intern is assigned to a single state or federal judge for eight weeks.  Interns are expected to perform legal research, draft memoranda, assist with the preparation of jury instructions, and observe court proceedings.
